How to Add Thumbnail Images to Lifestyle Theme Posts…
In this video you’ll learn how to add Thumbnail images to Lifestyle theme posts. By default, thumbnail images are do not display when you create a new post with the Lifestyle theme. You’ll need to create (or find) the thumbnail images and then follow these steps…
Step 1: Determine what size the thumbnail images will be. To do that go to Appearance > Lifestyle Theme Options > and set the dimensions for the thumbnails in the three sections which are, “Homepage Featured Top Left”, “Homepage Featured Top Right”, and “Homepage Featured Bottom”.
Step 2: Now that the thumbnail image dimensions have been set, the next step is to create the image. I use Photoshop to create the images but you can use any image editing software that you’d like. So go ahead and create your thumbnail image.
Step 3: Next, you’ll need to add your thumbnail image to the Media Library in the WordPress admin. Go to “Media” > Add New > upload the image > copy the image’s URL / File URL
Step 4: Now that the image has been added to the Media Library and you have copied the image URL you need to go find the Post that you wan to associate the thumbnail image to. Go to “Posts” > find your post > click Edit > scroll down to the “Custom Fields” section and click “Enter New” > enter “thumb” for the Name > now pastes the image URL in the “Value” field > click “Add Custom Field” and your thumbnail image will now appear on the website.
Repeat this steps above to add thumbnail image to each post on the Lifestyle Theme.

I have followed your instructions but facing problems in attaching thumbnails:
1. My Lifestyle Theme Options page is different. there is no place to define the thumbnail sizes.
2. I can not see thumbnails on the home page.
